I was convinced I ...It's funny how the mind works. I was convinced I had seen the quilt before - probably decades ago coming out of a closet, perhaps on a night that I had slept over (i.e., too drunk to leave).

Maybe it never existed. Still, from time to time I have dreams of your old childhood house.

I dreamed several years before it actually happened about the changes to the Black Hawk area, which made me feel strange when I actually saw it in real life.JeromeProphethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01408226707299885597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617836.post-23593739383300058042008-09-03T00:03:00.000-05:002008-09-03T00:03:00.000-05:00Sometimes a blanket is just a blanket. Uh...I got...Sometimes a blanket is just a blanket.

Uh...I got nothing here. I did take some of my mother's old wool blankets to school back in the day but they weren't quilts. They were sturdy and warm though. The only quilt she owned that I know of was made by a friend later in her life and I think one of my sisters has it. She had it on her bed at home in her last days, but then she wasn't home in her last days.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. But if you see mom in any other dreams, say hi for me. I miss her.Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06368635217133898734noreply@blogger.com
