Video Killed The Text Blog-Stars

I've been watching little movies that people make of themselves on YouTube.

YouTube is becoming the Citizen Band Radio of the first decade of the Twenty First Century.

I've watched:

An Australian talk about the loss of Steve Irwin

A person in Enland playing a guitar - sounded good too.

A bunch of dumb videos of people singing that "I'm a Barbie Girl" song.

Lots of stupid videos of kids, and adults using Mentos to turn Diet Coke Bottles into Fountains.

High School Kids from various events dancing to the Napolean Dynamite skit - just like in the Vote for Pedro scene.

I also watched an interview with L. Ron Hubbard.

Watched an interesting documentary on Cosmology, and quasars.

Watched a PBS interview (Charlie Rose) with the late Carl Sagan.

Watched a bunch of UFO videos - some obvious fakes, and weather balloons.

Watched some high quality music videos, and videos from concerts.

Watched many poor quality music videos, and videos made by fans from concerts.

Watched some stupid Japanese Macdonald's commercials - "I'm Luvin It".

Still I can see what's beginning to happen here.

The whole world is being uploaded in video.

And Microsoft is releasing VISTA to assist us in this next step toward multimedia.

It's like going from the telegraph to the telephone, and a lot of people won't like revealing themselves on camera, but the time is come - and we bloggers had better get ready.
